During the recent South Thames College Employer Week students had the opportunity to hear from a wide range of organisations. Employer volunteers were invited to come to the college throughout the week to discuss the employability skills required for their sectors. They also took the opportunity to share some very interesting stories about their own journeys to success.

Here is what they had to say about the event:

Russell De Rozario, Media Production Director:

"As an ex South Thames creative industries student, it is really reassuring to see high quality recruits head towards our industry. They were a bright and lively bunch, yet extremely polite and attentive. I was impressed with the standard and depth of understanding of their chosen subjects."

Milly Green, Art Movement:

"It has been a complete pleasure working with you guys and the learners and I’m looking forward to finding a way to continue next year."

Brandon Van Der Westhuizen, Dexters Estate Agents:

"The event was very well attended by the students who had loads of questions about our careers, earning potential and the pathway into the industry. The staff have been fantastic and accommodating and very supportive, offering students’ opportunities and insights into sectors like ours."
