This week Section Head James Cupper from the College’s Workforce Development team attended Wandsworth Work Match’s Employ Wandsworth 2022 event at Battersea Power Station, which focused on highlighting a number of jobs becoming available with employers who are moving to the Battersea and Nine Elms area over the next few months.
As part of the event, James was on-hand to promote and answer questions from local residents on a number of our courses, including the Security (SIA) programme. James also networked with a number of the businesses, and hopes to establish working links moving forward.
On attending, James commented: “This was a fantastic event to be a part of. I was able to talk to lots of potential future learners, and it was great to gain an insight from the employers. This will help us with planning our delivery in 2022/2023. Big thanks to Wandsworth Work Match and BASE for inviting us.”
