Games Development is an important industry and Britain’s creative talent pool is growing to compete on a global scale. It is important that education in this country responds by producing young people with creative and technical skills to build the competitive interactive visual experiences demanded by the industry.
FACILITIES
Games Design students study in the specialist digital suites and art studios of the Creative Industries Centre, Kingston College. At Kingston Hall Road, Esports students benefit from a state-of-the-art gaming suite with specialist PCs, keyboards and gaming software.

Each summer, family and friends are invited to celebrate the incredible work of our talented Creative Industries students at our End of Year Summer Shows. Visitors enjoy an eclectic mix of live music, exhibitions and performances showcasing the exciting work from a range of emerging talents. Interactive Media & Games Design students have developed inspired short animations for visitors to enjoy at Kingston Museum’s Eadweard Muybridge festival.
Former student Lisa Manley is a Pro FIFA player and the only female to qualify for the ePremier League. Lisa now advocates for other women in gaming. Lisa studied with us for 5 years from Level 2 Sport to HND Level 5 in Sport & Exercise Science.
