"I enjoyed the opportunity of doing work experience with British Airways." GUENEVERE ZARA, HND TRAVEL & TOURISM MANAGEMENT STUDENT
What an emotional journey it has been with Kingston College! Being here for the last 5 years has changed my life completely and leaving this year will be a hard step as tutors have been a pleasure encouraging me to do well and get the good grades and I will absolutely miss them! Meeting new people has been my favourite moment because it has made me a different person and I gained confidence which I hope to use at University.
Winning ‘Student of the Year’ two years in a row has been a good achievement for me as well as pushing my boundaries to getting to where I want to be. The advice I would give for those that want to apply for my course to be passionate about travel and of course focusing on the goal you want to reach in the end.
I loved that I was able to go on so many trips. I have been to Barcelona and Rome as well as other smaller day trips to Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers, the V&A museum and many more.
I have enjoyed the opportunity of doing work experience with British Airways. I completed a week’s placement where I checked in passengers and boarded them. It helped me realise my interests in working for an airline.
I started at Kingston College on a Level 3 Travel and Tourism course and progressed through the levels to the HND. I have accepted a place at St Mary’s University to study a BA (Hons) Travel and Tourism Management to complete my degree and graduate.
